I always say I am going to try something new. In the end I always get the lamb shank. Falls of the bone.

Agape is a great spot for Greek food in Sunnyvale, introduced to us by friends who live nearby. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and comfortable, a rarity in an area where good parking can be hard to find. I had the kabobs (one ground beef, one beef chunks), and both were flavorful and satisfying. The prices are very reasonable, and the beer is served cold in frosty glasses, which I really appreciated. It's a solid choice for a casual meal and worth checking out!

Agape Grill is on my lunch list. It's used to visit Athena Grill but that place has a ridiculous line now and a horrible parking situation with a fraction of the seating this place has. Everything else is the same. You get in line and order your food, pay, and find a place to sit. While waiting, the waiter will bring you a pitcher of water and some pita with hummus. In less than 10 mins, your food is brought out to you. I love their Gyro wrap which is the right portion for lunch. It's loaded with beef and comes with a nice heap of garlic fries on the side. My other go-to is the Biftekia appetizer. Now don't be misled. This "appetizer" is actually a full size portion. It comes with 4 patties of beef patties that's loaded with flavor. And it's super juicy and tender too. This also comes with a side of garlic fries for about $15. Since this place is huge there is never a wait for a seat. It's open seating so you can find a small intimate table or a large long one if you wanna bring your team.

A hidden gem. The entrance does not invite you get in but the decorated front patio made me curious. Once inside, got surprised by the big and nice dinning area Agapē has. Service is great. Food is fresh with great flavor. The lamb was cooked to perfection with wonderful flavor. Definitely will visit Agapē again. 10/08/24

Excellent food, excellent service and wonderful ambiance! I've been going to this restaurant for a decade and it's always been consistently good. Appreciate the level of hospitality and attention to detail with the staff, especially for big orders, parties and food allergies. This restaurant also has the most kind staff. Feels like I'm eating with family, every single day. Love it.

I've been telling my fiance that I've been craving a falafel the last couple of days and he recommended we check this place out since he came here with some co-workers. A solid mediterranean restaurant! Food: I ordered the Kefta Kebab and my fiance ordered the Brizola. They also serve bread prior to your meal and so I ended up not ordering a falafel after all LOL. Both portions were perfect for lunch and dinner. The Kefta was nicely seasoned and the ratio between vegetable and kebab was lovely. The bread was made to order so it was also fresh and I liked mixing it with my kebab and vegetables. Service: Such nice, kind servers. Both the host and server greeted us and had a small conversation with us. We came for dinner and it wasn't too busy since peak hours are lunch for them. They took our order, refilled our waters, and gave us our check & to-go boxes promptly. We didn't feel rushed either, which was nice. Location: There is a parking lot in the back and outdoor and indoor seating. Plenty of seats, it was a large restaurant! Felt almost like the size of 2 restaurants. Great for large gatherings or corporate events because they also have a bar there. Highly recommend! Would come back here so I can try their falafels!

The best Greek and Mediterranean food in the Bay! Everything is fresh and made to perfection. Their hummus is a must have and don't miss out on their soups! If you're not sure what you want, they have appetizers with a little of everything. The fries are stellar, try dunking them in one of the dips or the hot sauce! The folks who run this place are all so friendly and treat everyone well. You'll feel right at home. The space is great for large groups and events so if you're looking for a spot for your next team lunch, book it here.

I saw Cherylynn N.'s review about Agape Grill a while back and realized that I still had not given them a try yet. I was really craving a gyro the other day so I figured better late than never and stopped by before going grocery shopping. The restaurant is located in between different office buildings and is in a little quiet area undisturbed by any other food related businesses. They have plenty of outdoor seating and a small parking lot. I had placed my order of their gyro plate over the phone and by the time I got there, it was ready to go, total costing a little over $18 before tip. The lady was so friendly and was handling 3 different customers at the same time but doing it with ease. My first impression when I opened the bag was everything smelled amazing AND the portions are insane. My gyro plate was loaded with pita, a ton of gyro slices, onions and tomatoes, fresh fries, and 2 different sauces (tzatziki and an olive based sauce I think). Then packaged separately was more fresh pita with a side of hummus and a small box of their fully loaded Greek salad (lettuce, feta, tomatoes, olives, onions, and dressing). I was so shocked because for the price, this is unheard of anywhere else in the Bay Area. The food was extremely impressive and made of great quality. No matter how much I ate or how fast I ate (and I was starving this day), there was still so much food left over. The gyro slices were thick, tender, and packed with flavor. It went well with the warm pita underneath and some of that fresh onion and tomato. I was alternating between the tzatziki sauce and olive sauce and they all tasted so good together. I didn't even get to eat the other side of pita and hummus or salad because I was so full, but I still had enough food leftover for a small meal the next day. I am blown away by my experience at Agape Grill and I know I will be back again soon and probably quite often.

I wish I was closer to Agape Grill as I love their gyro plate. The only thing I didn't realize was now much garlic was in this plate and we all know....I'm garlic sensitive. But screw it! I popped a Pepsid and just suffered the consequences. And it was still delicious. Service is the same great service and we've never actually eaten in and always taken to-go. They have a tiny parking lot but it's okay we've never had issues finding parking.
